"...brilliant character actor..." - Jim Shelley, Daily Mirror
"Ian Puleston-Davies is superb..." - The Times
"...reliably brilliant..." - Jane Simon, Daily Mirror
This is the official, and indeed the only, website on the internet dedicated to the work of British TV actor, Ian Puleston-Davies. Information on the frequently-seen actor is scarce on the internet and so, through this site, i will endeavour to keep you up-to-date with Ian's work, as and when i have any information.
I have been a fan of Ian's work for a number of years now and try to catch him in as many programmes as i can. It has always bothered me that there isn't anywhere on the internet devoted to him, so in the end, it was a case of 'if you want a job doing, do it yourself'! And in the end, it seems i did such a good job, Ian has adopted this as his official website!
Feel free to have a look round and enjoy! Oh, and do please sign the guestbook!
Jen.

Today i've revamped the interviews page to make it a little easier to navigate, added a load more photos to the Coronation Street tab and added news of a local film project "Poor Wee Me" Ian is involved with.UPDATED 5/9/10:
I've updated the website today with a few bits and pieces to tie in with Ian's current role in Waterloo Road. I've added a link to his BBC character profile on the links page and a couple of new photos on the photo page. Enjoy!UPDATED 10/8/10:
Ian has been confirmed by the BBC today as Charlie Fisher, the cheating husband of Amanda Burton's character Karen Fisher, in series 6 of Waterloo Road. The shows airs this autumn and Ian has been quoted as saying he has no plans to leave Coronation Street, so presumably Waterloo Road was filmed before he began filming Corrie. I'll keep you posted when i've done some digging.UPDATED 24/7/10:
I've added a new interview to the "Interviews" page - Ian had a full 2 page spread in Friday (23rd of July)'s Daily Mirror, describing his struggle to deal with his OCD whilst on the set of Coronation Street, what the future might hold for his character, and how he is thankful everyday for his young daughter.UPDATED 16/7/10:
Had a bit of a spring clean today - Ian has recently been made patron of the CALM Centre and i have added an interview to the "older interviews" page. I have also added a rather nifty gadget from LocateTV to the "links" page which is automatically updated to show when Ian is next on TV. I am pleased to announce that i have now added a messgeboard facility to this website. I'm not entirely sure how active it will be, but i wanted to provide an open forum for people to discuss Ian's work. And i thought it might be handy if Ian recruits a new legion of fans once his Coronation Street role gets underway. UPDATED 5/6/10:
Ian's first appearance in Coronation Street will air on Thursday the 10th of June, at 8.30pm on ITV1. His role is as Owen, Izzy's father, and he is set to make quite an impression upon Liz MacDonald! I will continue to update the Coronation page with press cuttings and interviews as and when i find them. If you find anything you think should be added please feel free to email me a link. UPDATED 13/4/10:
Rather amazingly i have updated the site! For various different reasons i haven't been able to update the website for quite some time now, but given the news that Ian is soon to join the Coronation Street cast i thought it was as good a time as any for me to pick up where i left off. I've updated Ian's filmography under the 'biography' tab and i've added a couple of interviews about his forthcoming role in Corrie. UPDATED 22/12/08:
Ian's appearance in "Clash of the Santas" was aired on ITV1 last night...and a mighty fine one it was too! I think most would agree Beryl was quite a character for Ian to play around with!Apologies for the long absence, life suddenly got very busy! And may i take the opportunity to wish everyone a very merry Christmas, and a wonderful new year - from both myself and Ian.
UPDATED 27/8/08:
"The Children", a three-part drama about the stresses of divorce, the lives of step-families, and the sudden death of a child. Also, filming for ITV's "The Children" has finished, with it's release set for the autumn.UPDATED 31/1/08:
Hot on the heels of the news of Ian's TV appearances, is the information about a low budget movie, called "Awaydays", that Ian filmed last year. The film is based on the bestselling book (of the same name) by Kevin Sampson, about football hooliganism, and has already been dubbed, "like the Catcher in the Rye with Stanley Knives".
